He is responsible for driving Avocent IT Operations Management Solutions including out-of-band and capacity management. With his extensive knowledge and experience on data center management, he has expertise in advising and implementing IT solutions to help customers to overcome business challenges and sharing the best practice.
	Danny Lam Solution Marketing Manager Cisco Systems Danny is the Solution Marketing Manager of Cisco Systems. In his current position, Danny is responsible for the Product and Solution Marketing of Cisco Datacenter Networking, Application and Unified Computing System solutions in Asia Pacific.
Danny has over 18 years of experience in IT industry. Prior to Cisco, he held various senior sales and product marketing positions at Dell, Sun Microsystems, Apple and Compaq in Greater China and Asia Pacific. Danny hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Portland, Oregon, U.S. A.
	LK Yeung General Manager, IT Service Management, Business Operations & IT CSL Limited LK Yeung is General Manager of IT Service Management group in Business Operations & IT department, CSL Limited. LK holds the bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Hong Kong with First Class Honour.
LK started Information Technology career in early ‘80 after serving a few years in the computer hardware industry. The IT experience started from MTRC and progressively gaining software development and technical support skills after joining Hong Kong Jockey Club. LK got the breadth of IT infrastructure knowledge and experience when he worked for Computasia Limited, the IT arm of Hong Kong Telecom, in 1988. In Computasia, LK had established the Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) platform from the ground up to run the company mobile billing application CMIS, the predecessor of the current CSL's billing system GSMIS. In CSL, LK is now leading the IT Infrastructure, Network and Operations teams to serve CSL IT services needs. CSL is now operating two data centres with over 400 servers and 100TB of storages.
	K.C. Fung Director, Technology Solutions EMC Hong Kong Key Summary KC Fung has extensive hands on experience with the architecture, design, implementation and support of information systems involving multi-protocol networking and multiple operating systems environment. KC is particularly strong in service-driven IT infrastructure (Internet Data Center, Internet Service Provider, e-Commerce, Internet Security, Application Framework), Information Lifecyle Management and crossplatform integration.
Career Background KC Fung is currently the Director of Technology Solutions for EMC Hong Kong. In his current position, he is responsible for leading a team of technology professionals to help EMC customers to select, architect, plan, implement and manage the appropriate information infrastructure solution. KC started his career in 1983 with Dow Chemical Pacific, the Pacific Area Headquarter of the Dow Chemical Company, one of the leading diversified chemical company in the world. KC emmigrated to Canada in 1989 and spent most of his time working for Bank of Nova Scotia, one of the top 5 banks in Canada. KC returned to Hong Kong in 1996 and joined Sun Microsystems that year. He has spent close to 8 years at Sun and for most of the time he was the Chief Architect for the Professional Services organization.
	Robert Sun Griffith Regional Director for North Asia (which includes Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan) Emerson Robert Sun Griffith is the Regional Director for North Asia which includes Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Robert has nearly twenty years of senior territory management experience in the datacenter industry, dialoguing with IT and Datacentre executives and helping solve their strategic and operational issues.
Prior to joining Emerson in 2006, he held several senior management positions with American Power Conversion (APC), including Sales Director for Asia Pacific, Regional Director for India and North Asia as well as General Manager of Canada. He also had a long and distinctive career with IBM Canada in sales and marketing management.
	H P Suen Head of System Assurance – IT Hong Kong Jockey Club Before becoming the Head of System Assurance at the IT Division of Hong Kong Jockey Club, Mr. H P Suen spent eleven years managing IT Operations. HP's IT career includes working at IT operations department of HSBC, Bank of America, Bank of China and Hongkong International Terminals. He spent part of his career as MVS system programmer and IT auditor at Bank of Montreal, Canada.
Mr. Suen obtained B. Comm. Degree from McGill University, Canada, and completed the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Degree in 2001. His professional qualification includes Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 1993 and Manager's Certificate (Distinction) in IT Service Management in 2004, ITIL Expert 2008 and Certified Software Tester (CSTE) in 2008. Mr. Suen was the Hon. Treasurer and Vice President (Internal Affairs) of Hong Kong Computer Society from 1999 to 2003, and member of Committee on IT Training and Development of VTC from 2000 to 2007. Mr. Suen has a strong passion of IT Services Management and is the Chairman of itSMF Hong Kong Chapter.
	Claus Mortensen Principal for IDC's Emerging Technology Advisory Services IDC Asia Pacific Claus Mortensen is the Principal for IDC's Emerging Technology Advisory Services – including the Digital Marketplace & New Media program. He is based in IDC's Asia/Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong.
As a founding member of IDC's Emerging Technologies Council, Claus' main focus is to identify 'The Next Big Thing' in the ITC space as well as explore the impact of Web 2.0 and New Media in the Asian Digital Marketplace. Claus was previously Research Manager in IDC's Asia/Pacific Telecommunications research program with more than 8 years of experience in the area. Prior to joining IDC, Claus had extensive telecom research experience working as an analyst for Informa Telecoms Group in London and subsequently in Hong Kong, covering mobile telecoms in Europe and Asia. He also worked on and led various projects covering mobile data usage in Europe, mobile handset production and reverse logistics in China and Mobile Number Portability around the world. Before becoming a telecoms analyst, Claus was a Legal Officer with the Danish telecoms regulator where he was in charge of the Danish public tenders for two TETRA radio networks and consulted on 2G and 3G tenders and auctions. He also worked on Danish and European Union regulatory reforms representing Denmark in European Union and ITU meetings. Claus is often quoted in regional and local publications like Reuters, The Deal and Hong Kong and Singapore newspapers. He has also appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. Claus holds a Master's degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
	Ken Wong Server & Tools Business Group Lead Microsoft Hong Kong Ken Wong, is the Server BG Lead for Microsoft Hong Kong, leading a team to provide leadership on driving Microsoft Servers solution adoption for Hong Kong market; this include, Business Intelligence Solution, RDBMS, Identity & Access Management, Security, System Center Suite of Server & Desktop Management tools, Windows Server, Virtualization technology and etc.
Ken has a wide range of experience with Microsoft and similar technologies during his 15+ years in the IT solutions marketplace. This includes his time working in Malaysia as a Senior Consultant for Microsoft Consulting Services led the team to a few strategic server projects including implementation of Microsoft Commercial Internet System for Telekom Malaysia Data Center, supporting 250,000 users in an ASP environment. Ken has also acquired regional knowledge on APAC and GCR during his time when his role require him to cover SEA, India, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Ken joined Microsoft in Oct 1995 in Malaysia as a System Engineer to support the presales effort on Microsoft servers technology, ranging from Windows Server, Management Tools, Exchange and Security solution.
	Frank Chan Chief Information Officer Newtech Technology Group Frank Chan – DBA, MBA, FBCS, CITP, MACS, FIAP Chief Information Officer (Newtech Technology Group) Certified Project Director (HKITPC)
Mr Frank Chan, the Chief Information Officer is responsible for the business development and strategy. Mr. Chan is a seasoned manager with over 35 years of IT experience in the system architect, IT Operations, Security, Recovery and Transformation Management. He joined Newtech in July 2008 to take in charge of the Next Generation Data Center Solutions and the Data Center Life-cycle Management in decade that includes the opportunity discovery, pre-sale creation, design proposal, contract negotiation, project governance and services delivery, etc. He led and managed the successful data center projects included the Greater China Group and in the countries of Australia, Canada and Unite States. Prior to joining Newtech, Mr. Chan was the General Manager with HP in China. He took in charge the Consulting & Integration Teams to provide solution and Services in the NGDC infrastructure portfolio that included the Data Center Planning, Construction, IT System Management (ITSM), BCRS and Security Services. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Chan was the Senior Project Executive with IBM in Canada. During the period, he was also to be the Director of IT Operations and Transition Management. He moved to IBM Greater Group in 2001 to become the Services Delivery Executive and the Chief Architect management position, leading the Technical Solutions Consultants to charter the IBM Global IT Infrastructure Solution for clients that included the JP Morgan, DBS Bank, Dai Sang Bank, PCCW, etc. He managed the data center enterprise infrastructure design & build in compliance to the HKMA standard. He had completed the mega Data Center projects that included the migration of customer’s core banking critical applications and the credit card public systems with a great challenge to be requested for an execution at the zero down time. After graduating from the University of Hong Kong, Mr. Chan worked in the Cathay Pacific Airline’ as the Senior IT Operation Manager from 1974 to 1996. He had managed the CPA’s data centers migration project successfully from Hong Kong to Australia in 1995 that include the immigration of over 100 critical airline applications. The execution was completed transparent to the CPA’s airline business in the daily operations.
	Jim Fagan Managing Director Rackspace Asia Pacific Jim Fagan is the Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Rackspace Asia responsible for implementing Rackspace Hosting and Fanatical Support in the region. Asia.
Jim is dedicated to delivering an unmatched customer experience to the Asia Pacific hosting market and is focused on growing the business to a regional leadership position. Fagan joined Rackspace in July 2006 as the Director of Financial Operations where he built an organization of financial professionals dedicated to assisting Rackspace leadership in successfully managing the rapid growth and expansion of the company, including an IPO on the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Rackspace, Jim served as Finance Controller for Dell's Managed Service business and was responsible for the financial management and pricing structure of Dell's newly formed services division. Jim spent nine years at Dell primarily providing finance planning, pricing and operational finance support to Dell's global Fortune 500 business. Jim brings more than 11 years of financial and operational IT product and service industry experience. Jim holds a BS in Finance from Villanova University as well as an MBA from Arizona State University's WP Carey School of Business. Jim was also a Division I competitive swimmer and team captain of the Villanova University Big East Conference Champion men's swim team.
	Damian J. Crotty President ViFX Asia Pacific and Japan Damian serves as President, VIFX Asia Pacific and Japan, leading the VIFX organization across Asia and is responsible for creating and delivering Virtualisation and Storage solutions and technology to more than 50,000 Corporate, Public and Small to Medium businesses across the Region.
Prior to his current role, Damian was Vice President for Lenovo's Relationship Business in Europe and also served as Vice president and Chief Operating Officer across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Damian is experienced in the Enterprise Technology sector as the former Executive Director and General Manager of Dell's Enterprise Systems Group for Asia-Pacific and Japan from 2002 to 2007. In this capacity, Dell became one of the largest independent providers of Enterprise Systems across Asia. Damian led that business across Asia and Europe for more than a decade, has been a member of the Senior Leadership teams across these geographies and his values are deeply rooted in solving business problems through technology, coupled with deep customer empathy.
	Toon Chwee Wee Chief System Consultant VMware Mr Wee Toon Chwee has over 10 years of professional experience in information technology, including Information Security, System Network, Application Integration, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Server virtualization.
As Chief System Consultant, Toon Chwee is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support to the Enterprise Account Manager, handling major accounts in the Hong Kong territory. He also provides technical assistance for local marketing events. He has also obtained the Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification. Prior to joining VMware, Toon Chwee was a pre-sales Consultant at RSA Security, where he was involved in many major information security implementations in South Asia.
